May this year saw us venture across the border for the first time as we headed into Wales! This year was the second largest event we have held with over 57 families attending.

The glorious Millennium Stadium was our venue for the day. The children headed off to places such as Taff valley for quad biking and Cefn Mabley Farm to see the animals, we also had an onsite crèche for the very young members.

While the children were all entertained either offsite or with the amazing staff of Tinies crèche the adults were kept very busy with talks from some specialist speakers including, Professor Marks, Dr Richard Goodwin, plus many more.

There were also quite a few pharmaceutical companies on hand giving out samples and advice throughout the day.

There were 9 types of Ichthyosis represented on the day. The day and the activities could not have taken place without the help of our 23 volunteers. The day was a huge success, but don’t take our word for it .

Here are some comments from people that attended on the day.
