Confidence building workshop for young people aged 13-16
Changing Faces invite young people aged 13-16 with a visible difference to join a confidence building workshop in London on Wednesday 26 October between 10.30 and 3.30.
To book a place on this workshop Changing Faces are asking for a £15 contribution. If you need to discuss financial support with meeting this cost and/or travel expenses, do get in touch.
Where will the Workshop take place?
At Changing Faces, The squire Centre, University Street, London WC1E 6JN – near Warren Street tube station.
Who has been invited?
Information has been sent to young people between the ages of 13 and 16, across the country who have a visible difference.
What will happen during the session?
There will be a range of informal activities which will help you to develop social skills, boosting your confidence and self esteem. These will take place in a relaxed setting.
What will I get out of it?
- New ways to deal with tricky situations, including what to do when people stare, make comments or ask questions.
- A chance to meet other young people who look different
- Lunch and refreshments
- A certificate of attendance and some handouts
