Ichthyosis Awareness Week – 24th-30th September 2011
Join in with Ichthyosis Awareness Week from Saturday 24th to Friday 30th September 2011.
The focus of the awareness week will be the ‘Pot of Gold’ challenge!
Get an old tub or dispenser of cream, wash it out, and decorate it! Maybe it could become a gold pot full of coins? Decorate your pots however you like and let your imagination run wild with ways of how to fill it with money!
“Fill your pot to the brim, for ichthyosis skin!”
Why not organise events at work or school to fill your Pot of Gold during awareness week! You may choose to hold a dress down day, a sponsored event, stage a coffee morning, or organise a raffle? Give something up for a week and donate the money you saved! Take your pot to work and ask for donations from your colleagues… There are lots of ways to fill your Pot of Gold.
Tell us your fundraising ideas, post pictures of your Pots of Gold on Facebook, get everyone involved.
