Isle of Wight Beach Soccer event – Sunday 3rd July 2011

Come and join us on the beach! For the 3rd year running the Isle of Wight Beach Soccer event is hosting the Ichthyosis Charity Cup on Appley beach, Ryde on the Isle of Wight.

The next event is taking place on Sunday 3rd July 2011. Join families for a BBQ, music, raffle and to support the teams playing in the Ichthyosis Charity Cup.

In 2009 and 2010 teams gathered on Appley Beach on the Isle of Wight for the Ichthyosis Charity Cup event.

Sophie Newman, South Regional Contact, and her fiancé Luke Kerr, a FIFA Beach Soccer Instructor and FA Football and Futsal Coach, organise the event to raise awareness of ichthyosis and bring families together.

Teams compete  on the beach no matter what the weather has in store. Supporters and public alike enjoyed a BBQ and soft drinks with all proceeds going to the ISG.

The events have raised over £500!
