RESEARCHERS AT CARDIFF UNIVERSITY ARE LOOKING FOR ADULTS (>18 YRS) AFFECTED BY ICHTHYOSIS TO TAKE PART IN A SHORT ONLINE SURVEY INVESTIGATING THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ICHTHYOSIS AND AGEING

Researchers are beginning to understand the medical and psychological conditions affecting individuals with ichthyosis. However, little research has addressed how ichthyosis and related conditions change and develop across the lifespan. In collaboration with the Ichthyosis Support Group, a UK registered charity, we are undertaking a study to better understand age-related effects on skin condition and associated medical and psychological conditions across numerous types of ichthyosis. We are also interested in collecting opinions from affected individuals on where future research in this area should be directed. Findings from this study will help us better understand the nature and magnitude of age-related effects in ichthyosis and related psychological and medical conditions, as well as the priority areas for future research.

If you have a confirmed diagnosis of any type of ichthyosis, we would be extremely grateful if you could complete the following 30 minute survey:
