We—Ioannis, Ezer, Petros, and George—are running a half marathon to raise awareness and funds for Ichthyosis Support Group (ISG). Inspired by Ioannis work with Ichthyosis patients, we realized the importance of amplifying their voices, and supporting those affected, and so the idea of running a half marathon for ISG was born.Many are unaware of ichthyosis, and we hope to change that by raising awareness, supporting those affected, and highlighting ISG’s vital work.
I'm setting myself a challenge to run this classic 70 mile ultramarathon which follows the route of Hadrian's Wall from Carlisle to Newcastle on June 14th 2025 to raise money for the Ichthyosis Support Group.
My brother has ichthyosis and he attended a residential camp and we are forever grateful that he could see other children with his same condition

Two of our children live with this condition and the ISG has been amazing in supporting us with information and running events that help us to manage it.
