Volunteer

Would you like to join the committee or maybe become part of our Support Team? Maybe you are a parent, sufferer, or have experience of working in a specific field that you would like to use in the 3rd sector, such as fundraising, media and communications, book keeping, publicity, marketing and many other areas - if so we would be delighted to hear from you!

By becoming a volunteer for the ISG you could develop existing skills and experience.  You could volunteer at one of our annual events or children's residential camps, co-ordinate collection tins or become a local ambassador for ichthyosis.

Our range of volunteering opportunities and flexible approach mean that you decide exactly how and where you give your time.

We’d love to hear from any willing volunteers, please register your interest and we will contact you to have a friendly chat about how you may volunteer for the ISG.

Why Volunteer?

We want to make sure that you get as much out of your volunteer experience as we do.

Becoming an ISG volunteer is great for:

  • Boosting your confidence and self-esteem
  • Developing your skills
  • Gaining meaningful experience
  • Making new friends and connecting with your ISG community
  • Enhancing your wellbeing
