Latest Research Ichthyosis Related Research Ichthyosis Support Group Research Grant Ichthyosis Support Group Research Grant Introduction The Ichthyosis Support Group (ISG) was formed in 1997 by a group of individuals affected by ichthyosis to create a network of parents, sufferers and interested doctors and nurses. We aim to promote research into the management of ichthyosis and to support organisations promoting research into ichthyosis. The applications will be assessed by a minimum of 2 members of the Medical Advisory Board of the ISG, all of whom have expertise in this area. We will award 1-2 research grants, up to a maximum of £20,000 in total available per year and subject to available funds. Applications are open from 1st January annually. About the award An ISG Research Grant is available to anybody wishing to carry out UK based research into ichthyosis The research should benefit patients with ichthyosis or a related condition An individual investigator can make one application only No ‘top-ups’ or extensions are available for any reason Successful awards must be activated within 12 months Awards are claimed by authorised finance departments submitting a single invoice for the full amount A scientific and a lay report should be submitted upon completion The Ichthyosis Support Group’s support should be mentioned in any relevant papers or presentations and copies should be forwarded to the ISG For further details and to apply please see links below.
