We’re delighted to invite our members to a relaxed Cuppa & Chat Morning on: đź“… Saturday 25th April 2026⏰ 11:00am – 1:00pm 📍 First Floor, Rubra One, Mulberry Business Park, Fishponds Road, Wokingham, RG41 2GY – free parking on site. This is a chance to come together in a friendly setting, no agenda, no presentations - just good conversation, shared experiences, and a warm welcome. Whether you’re newly diagnosed, have been part of the ISG community for years, or are supporting a family member with ichthyosis, these mornings are about connection. This is an opportunity to meet others who understand, swap tips, share stories, and simply enjoy being in a room where you don’t have to explain yourself. You’re welcome to drop in at any time during the session, stay for the full two hours or just pop by to say hello. Tea, coffee and light refreshments will be provided. If you’ve never attended one of our in-person events before, this is a lovely, low-key way to get involved. We would absolutely love to see some new faces as well as familiar ones. If you plan to attend, please let us know so we can make sure the biscuits don’t run out! Please note our office, and all toilets are only accessible via flights of stairs. We can’t wait to welcome you! ISG Online Session Series We’re really pleased to be planning a new series of online member events. These informal sessions are all about bringing our community together, to share experiences, offer support and learn from one another. So far, we’re planning the following: General ichthyosis chat, a relaxed space to talk, swap tips and connect with others who understand Specific X-linked ichthyosis session with Dr Will Davies Dedicated session for South Asian families, creating a safe and supportive space to talk about sensitive personal and cultural issues A session for members with Netherton syndrome to hear about clinical trial updates Not all of the sessions will include medical professionals. Some will simply be an opportunity to share what’s helped, talk through challenges and remind each other that no one is facing ichthyosis alone. Member Regional Gatherings Our Regional Gatherings are a wonderful opportunity to meet fellow members from your area. These events will be relaxed and inclusive, with something for all ages. There won’t be medical professionals or pharmaceutical companies present (though there will be a product goody bags to take home). Instead, the focus is on bringing members together and meeting representatives from the ISG in an informal, comfortable space. We’re currently planning three Regional Gatherings, with dates to be confirmed, in: Essex, South East Birmingham, West Midlands Republic of Ireland We’d love you to join us, so come along and be part of something truly special with other members from your region. Children's Camps Are Coming! We’re excited to share that we are currently planning 2 PGL activity camps for children and young people aged 8-16 years!
