WHY WE NEED YOUR DATA AND WHAT WE DO WITH IT

The ISG will be what’s known as the ‘Controller’ of the personal data you provide to us. To allow us to provide you with your chosen service, we may be required to collect sensitive data. However, we will not collect any data about you that we do not need in order to provide you with a suitable and appropriate investment service.

THE TYPES OF DATA WE MAY COLLECT ABOUT YOU INCLUDE:

ISG collects personally identifiable information (such as name, address, telephone/fax number and e-mail address) only when provided by a visitor to our websites. ISG does make use of non-personally-identifiable statistical information collected from users (browser type, geographical location, age, gender) for optimization of its sites as part of its continual internal review process and in a general way to learn more about its clients. The Act gives you the right to access information held about you. Yours rights can be exercised in accordance with the Act.  Any access request may be subject to a fee of £10 to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.

LOG FILES

We use IP addresses to analyse trends, administer the site, track a user's movements and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.

ISG personnel are required to keep personal information confidential and only authorised persons have access to such information.

CHILDREN

DIGITAL BROADCAST - EMAIL NEWSLETTERS

Ichthyosis Support Group may utilise third party suppliers to facilitate digital broadcasts for information you have requested to receive, for example via an email newsletter subscription.  This may include, but is not limited to email broadcast where personally identifiable data may be shared for the purpose of fulfilling your communication request.  You may unsubscribe or update your subscription details via the links enclosed within any digital broadcast.

• The right to request a copy of your personal data which the ISG holds about you;
